John Cena,is without a doubt the most hated WWE star right now & if you go to find the reason behind it,his wrestling skills would be the most common answer.
''he does only 5 moves per match,he's a bad wrestler etc,etc..''
But Cena has been putting on good matches for quite some time now & I'd like to mention his last two Wrestlemania bouts.
This year,in the triple threat match he put on a great performence.
Last year,his match against Shawn Michaels was a pure example of basics in wrestling & a great work of chemistry and physical contest.
Apart from WM main events,one another match that proves tctena's skills as a wrestler was the one hour contest on RAW last year against HBK straight after WM.
People actually hate Cena coz his character has gone stale,he's not rapping anymore or not hitting anyone with a steel chain..
in short..he's tamed down.
Some other reasons..
everyone is hating Cena so you just follow the trend or it's become a need for every ''smark'' to hate him,
BUT..
they'll never tell the real reason for the hatred.
They'll always say they hate Cena coz he's a bad wrestler..
I've no problem with people hating Cena,but people must be clear in their minds about on which basis they hate him..
If we can justify the firing of ECW originals from WWE calling it good for business..
If we can justify inclusion of celebrities on WM card,calling it good for business..
Why do we ignore the so-called ''business'' factor in Cena's case..?Instead of crying over entertainment in wrestling..
Double standards..?

Of Cena, Smackdown is now number one brand in sports entertainment I watch RAW because of few wrestlers: HBK, Randy Orton, HHH, Carlito, santino Marella....

I don't have a problem with cena as a Person, I'm sure he a Nice guy. I hate the fact that he gets given this support when top guys like Mr. Kennedy, MVP hell even Shawn Michaels don't get half of what cena gets. He can't even make it on his own like The Rock or Mr. Kennedy(He been working on a Movie that why he isn't on raw) when it come to the movie. WWE Calls him a Movie star but he isn't he got given the Roles by the WWE. He also sladed the Rock when we all know that he just upset that the Rock is 10 times better then him at everyone. Hell the Rock has even had a No 1 here in the UK, something that Cena will EVER have
Cena Sucks as a Wrestler but he would make a half decant Sitcom actor. |

Well, all in all. There is ONE person that basically all this revolves around...Vincent Kennedy McMahon! John Cena is not a suck up. Cena might need a little sharpening with his skills, but the one man that has overused him and thinks that he needs to be champion is VKM. Sure, HHH bought his way into the family buy marrying Stephanie so he gets what he wants, but McMahon won't do anything about it. Don't hate on Cena for what he does, hate McMahon for what he does.

Ignoring the Cena factor first . . . Getting rid of the ECW business was a horrible freakin' idea. Celbrities at Wrestlemania pull away from the ACTUAL wrestling so f#ck them too. Both were horrible for business. Back to Cena, yeah he talked about The Rock as someone posted in a different thread his actual words.(But that can't be a reason as I didn't actually hear it and rumors are bullshyt) Yeah he's a "movie star"(?) when his movies bombed and the only reason they got views were from the Cena Wrestling Fans. I rubbed my eyes from dejavu but I remembered the ring had RAW instead of WrestleMania on it. Everyone is talkin about "Cena IS a good wrestler" and "Cena put on great matches" If they weren't high they'd understand maybe it's NOT Cena but the ACTUAL wrestlers that are doin their jobs instead of extra ciricular activities like rap, movies, and all that stuff. . . . I liked him as US Champ. And the last cool match that I watched was Judgement Day 200-something when Cena and JBL beat the crap out of each other, even though the ending was a disappointment. After this match I never saw a Cena match from start to finish. Yeah Cena should get back to Smackdown or something and go for the US title or the IC title, get back on his place . . . like Jericho, he was a cool Main Eventer but he became a Mid Carder and to hold him down he gets all those IC title runs. I would like to see more Y2J in the Main Event . . . but that's besides the point. Cena sucks  |

As for Cena the only thing I really have a problem with him is that he still uses street expressions and then doesn't use the gangster persona so he ends up sounding like a moron, he probably is. Other than that I just think he needs more innnovation in his style.
