EWA is now a multi-market sports entertainment company while still focusing on professional wrestling. In a project that has been going on since EWA's inception in Fall '06 the project to turn EWA into more then a publicly broadcasted show. Now EWA is a Sports-Entertainment Company and it has big things planned. This also includes the completed project to build a home Stadium for EWA in the birthplace of EWA. T-Bone had this to say at a press conference earlier today.
"As co-propriator of EWA Enterprises I am pleased to announce to opening of our corperate headquarters and The Extreme Zone in my home of Raleigh North Carolina. The grand opening to celerbrate EWA becoming an Enterprise will happen August the 24th, 2008 during EWA's Branded Pay Per View Desperate Measures. From there our Bi-Weekly show Raveged Impact will be filmed live at the Extreme Zone..."
In early 2007 T-Bone and company bought an old convention center in Raleigh-Durham which almost sent the company into bankruptcy in the spring. But the company pulled through and now that convention center will hold all Ravaged Impact and DWF shows at the center. When the show is not in town, the convention center will hold concerts, sporting events, and soon an in center mall shall be finished built by the winter. This should help EWA grow in the near future. EWA.com will countdown to August 24th when EWA Enterprises officially begins.
EWA.com posed this question to its superstars.
How do you feel about EWA expanding to more then just a wrestling program?

The official article
Earlier today at a press conference at the new EWA headquarters, EWA has reveiled the plans to transform EWA's mild mannered wrestling promotion into a public Enterprise. Thus EWA Enterprise was born. EWA has made several big moves in process including the aquisition of an old convention center in Raleigh the home of EWA which almost left the company in bankruptcy in Spring 2007. But EWA recovered from that downward sprial only to continue with more aquisitions of closed properties. In September of 07 EWA bought out a Connecticut based promotion on the verge of collaspe and turned it into a developmental territory, as well as buying out a defundant federation Total Annilhilation Wrestling. But now here EWA's Co-Propriator again revealed another agressive business move against the wishes of some of the company.
"Yes I know some people view my projects as rash and bad for business, but what people want today is quality which is what I bring to you. On August 24th we will celerbrate EWA Enterprises during our August spectacular Desperate Measures. That night we will reveal our new arena, The EWA Extreme Zone. I felt that we as a company needed a place to call home. Raleigh was the birthplace of EWA and I knew there was no other choice of where to base EWA." --T-Bone(Caleb Marshal) July 30th 2008
Opponents in the company feel that choosing Raleigh North Carolina was a bad move adding to another bad move. Many within the company feel that having at least half of their shows in one place will greatly decrease revenue EWA gets from going abroad the country. As it stands, T-Bone plans on taping all Raveged Impact, EWA's weekly weekend show that alternates with Collective Mayhem another weekend show, shows live at the Extreme Zone. Opponents in the company see this as a weak location for a weak idea.
"I feel with the way EWA's net worth has fluctuated in the past that this is a bad idea. Not enough people live in the Raleigh-Durham region to really help out profits in the company. If we really had to choose a location, somewhere like New York City or Chicago would have been a better idea. This was just a selfish act Mr. Marshal did in order to put his hometown in some spotlight." --Keith Miller EWA Board Minority Leader July 31st 2008
Still many feel this could be a great idea. When the Extreme Zone isn't holding live EWA events, EWA's developmental promotion, properly named The Developmental Wrestling Federation, will hold all its events there. Other wrestling and sports promotions that EWA partners with is able to come to the Extreme Arena. It'll also play concerts and special events, plus a mall is currently being finished by the winter.
"I think having a promotion like EWA having its anchor somewhere is a great idea. I'm sure glad it was in Raleigh. It has created hundreds of jobs and will increase revenue the City of Raleigh makes." --Mayor of Raleigh July 30th 2008
Only time can tell if this was a great decision or not. EWA Enterprises officially launches with EWA's Pay Per View Desperate Measures on August 24th 2008 live in the Extreme Zone.
EWA.com asked the superstars to weigh in their opinion about the moves their company is making.

EWA.com got the first response by the newest, and most famous couple in EWA history,Kate, our newely announced Co-Proprietor of EWA and Aragorn, probably the greatest superstar today.
The Aragorn is wearing his "Armani" suit,as Kate is wearing a long black, gorgeous dress. They're both smiling,as Aragorn is the first to respond.
Aragorn:Well you have to look at it this way.Kate and T-Bone are brother and sister, and they talked things out to improve the Extreme Wrestling Federation. An expansion means more money, and more money means a lot of happy people.
Kate:And you could also call T-Bone as the sugar daddy of sports entertainment, because he brought up the idea.My boyfriend can be named as the greatest sports entertainer in EWA history, because every match he had,he always gave his best, and the fans love it,even if he's a heel. His antics may be hated, but they say he is the best heel in EWA today.
Aragorn:I'd also like to say that EWA maybe the biggest company out there, and we could one day be the greatest.Just wait and see!
After Aragorn points at the camera smiling,as he holds Kate with his left arm,the scene changes to another superstar >>>

Here's what The Rock had to say . . . The Rock: Companies have done this before. Companies such as ECW. But look what happened to those Jabroni's . . . they went bust. But the fact of the matter is that they never . . . and The Rock means never, had a superstar that electrified as much as The Rock does. For that reason only, The Rock knows that EWA will do fine. The Rock thinks that this will actually be a great thing for the city of Raleigh. Now, with one show every week there, it'll bring the community closer together and if some more of the millions and millions of The Rock's fans want to come and see the show, The Rock is sure they'll make the trip to the arena.
