General IdeaMy word is law around here. In EWA there is no such thing as freedom of speech. Simply act with some respect for me, yourself, and fellow RPers. Free Will I mean ignorance will not be tolerated. Good behavior is expected. Obviously cursing, trash talking, things of obscene nature are not allowed, at least out of character. In character rules will be covered later. Just do things by word of mouth. These guys know what is acceptable and what isn't. Rules are usually over complicated. You'll find none of that over the top strict BS in EWA. Click one of the links below to open a new window to a specific reply in this topic containing a specified rule.

What is Flaking? - Flaking is defined as no showing in the e-fedding world.
This mostly applies for new member who sign a contract, so I place them on the next match card, and then they flake and usually never return. Flaking is very damaging. It makes the shows empty and isn't fair to everyone else who puts forth effort week after week.
I don't mind when people create accounts, decide EWA isn't right for them and leave. That isn't a problem.
The problem is people coming in, taking the time to sign a contract, and then cheating themselves and everyone else by Flaking.
Signing a contract is like signing a commitment. Everyone on EWA who signs a contract is required to RP for at least one show. If at that point they don't want to stay in EWA, all they need to do is inform me and everything is cool.
But for people who flake without giving me a reason, the e-fedding world has its punishment.
RoughKut.com has a section to post Flakes. For some new guys, you get recruited from RoughKut. RK has a serious influence in the e-fedding world. Flaking is a pretty hurtful offense in the e-fedding world. It may not be as damaging here as it is in some feds, but damaging none the less.
From now on I will be keeping a Flake list. People who Flake (New or Not) will be added to this list. At the end of each month, I will post that list on RK.com, so the rest of the e-fedding world knows what Flakes you are.
New people will have a harder time for me to remove them from this list, but I won't be mean about it.
To be removed from this list, all you need to do is tell me why you Flaked. I'll have a topic for this up soon. After that I'll remove you from the Flake List.

1) Do not end your post as though you expect to win. I'm sick of seeing guys end there post connecting their finisher and going for the pin, only for me having the winner kick out of a finisher. It loses the reality of the finishing move. By all means, put that you or your opponent are getting ready to do a finisher, then I'll have it reverse or connect in my post. Or hell, don't even bother with the finisher. If this happens, you will automaticly lose your match from now on.
2) As a matter of fact, don't make your finisher connect at all in your match posts. They are finishing moves for a reason, to finish a match. Play around with the signature moves all you want, even have finishing move attempts reversed or missed, but don't have them connect at all. If this happens, you will automaticly lose your match from now on.
3) I see some people waiting forever for their opponent to post their match first because they are to stubborn to go ahead and post. Fine its your choice to wait around, but if they post at the last minute and you don't at all, don't come crying to me. It don't matter who goes first as long as someone does. If you get cut off at the last minute, oh well I don't care, it was your own Sploosh fault.
4) I have a new interference policy. From now on, if you want to interfere in a match, you must make a 5 - 15 RP doing so in the match, without actually ending it. You must also PM me what your trying to accomplish so I can write it in at the end. From now on, not every single interference will be successful. Some will fail. Oh well.
5) I want to see more out ring RPS, because those are gonna factor in my match decisions from now on. So even if you are the best RPer here, but you fail to cut a promo and your opponent does, that'll give them a much better chance then you, and you may need to absolutely blow them away, which quite frankly, no one totally beats anyone else like that anymore.
6) One more thing, this constint complaining about my decisions needs to stop. Your on a losing streak? Its my fault I feel your opponent did better? No, it isn't my fault. I can help how everyone RPs week to week. One week you do awesome, the next couple you do horrible. Guess what? Thats how life is, get over it.
NEW7) From this point onward, there is a new rule on number of RP's in a match. The minimum is one RP a person. A person can post as many RP's as he/she wants, but if his/her opponent ends up only making one RP, then that's all that is gonna count. We'll take your best RP in consideration, not necessarily your first.

To update a few things for new members, as it was never clear to those new to RP feds.
1) A match begins when I post a match card in one of the 4 match card sections. With that you go to the Match RP section and start a new thread for your match. Deadlines will be posted on match cards.
2) The match starts when each participant post their entrances. This can occur in any order.
3) Once everyone has entered the match. One member of the match makes an RP about a portion of the match. After that each participant goes and so on. You can make more then one post, so long everyone keeps their posts even. You can also do this in any order, its your fault if you miss the deadline waiting for someone else.
4) After everyone has posted a bit of the match, I or someone appointed by me will pick a winner and either write a match ending or allow the winner to write their own.
5) Have fun out there.

After reading and re-reading Aragorn's and Eagle's match this past week, I've come to the realization that the RPs are too Sploosh long. And partially that is my fault. I know it seems like in order to win matches your RPs have to be longer then everyone else's. And thus we now have 3000 word RPs! That's insane. It's like a 6 page essay single spaced. So I went back these couple of weeks and looked for RPs that were long enough to get the point across, but not too long that it gives me a headache reading and takes away from the overall quality of the RP. So now I introduce the [glow=red,2,300]EWA RP Standard.[/glow]
The minimum any RP should be is 700 words. Most of you guys RP around this length.
With a minimum, comes a maximum. After being forced to read over 5000 words worth of RPs from both Aragorn and Eagle, I have finally come to realize this is too much! It takes away from my ability to judge and sometimes I make the wrong decision because of it. So our maximum is going to be 1500 hundred words.
Here is a few notes for those who want a quick reference point from what I expect from this standard.
-Min. 700 words -Max. 1500 words -Formatting does not effect this -DO NOT STRESS over the word count. Seriously you'll drive yourself crazy and your RP WILL SUFFER FOR IT. -Get the word count somewhere in the ballpark of the min/max limit. It doesn't have to be exactly 1500 words, but if you are RPing 2000, 3000, 4000, it becomes too long at that point. -I won't check the word count. If I feel its too long it probably is. -If you want, put the word count at the end of your post if it'll make you feel better. Whatever

I am using Showstopper's Terms from USW2 to help you guys out
Sell Give the impression that a move hurts. For example: Grab your jaw when ‘punched’ in the face.
Opening Spot/Shine The opening spot or shine is the start of the match. Generally it’s called the shine because the face will take the advantage as he has more heart, guts or is better. The only reason the heel would take the advantage would be if there was a difference in the level of competitors. For example: Virus vs. ShowStopper
Jump Start A jump-start is just that – a jump-start. This will generally be if you’re pressed for time. In that case, you’d cut off the shine and go straight to the heat spot, which I’ll deal with later. For example: The heel attacks the face during the face’s entrance and the match starts with the face already at a disadvantage.
Heat Spot This is where the heel takes advantage of the match via cheating or some disreputable method. For example: Thumb to the eye.
Hope Spot Pretty much self-explanatory. During an extended period of the heel beating down the face, the face makes a tiny comeback, only for heel to cut him off. It’s used to break up the beat down and give the impression that the face has a ‘hope’, hence the term hope spot. For example: Small package out of nowhere by the face. Then both men get up at the same time and the heel hits a vicious clothesline, cutting the face off.
Double-down Both men get knocked down. For example: Superplex and both men stay down.
High-spot A major move or event in the match. Not necessarily a crazy move. Usually something that gets the crowd angry/excited. For example: The heel spits in the face’s face. For example: Powerbomb through a table.
Botch A move or spot that doesn’t come off well. Not a move that was planned to be missed. For example: Slipping on the top rope.
Heat When you get the crowd pissed off. Usually for heels. For example: The heel hits a low blow and the crowd boos.
Pop The crowd explode in boos/cheers. Can be a small pop or large pop. Someone like Matt Hardy or MVP would get large pops, while someone like Santino Marella or Scotty 2 Hotty would get small pops. For example: The face hits his finisher and the crowd cheers loudly.[/b]

This is an example of a not-so-good RP that is not up to par with our standards.
Contributed by Emo Freakshow!
[/size]
Okay, let's get started
suggestions
1. double space in between where the commentators talk and the match. Example:
this this and this happens
Bob:blah blah blah Jim: blah blah blah
this happens more
2. add in more colors, bolding, italicizing, etc.
3. You seemed to focus on yourself alittle too much. It's hard to avoid but in matches with more than 2 people you have to distribute attention equally.
Major improvements to make
1. Make it bigger. Don't just talk about more things that happen but describe things that happen more. Don't just say "Emo hits a pele kick" say "emo looks back, bends over preparing to jump, and jumps up doing a backflip to kick The Heretic with a huge pele kick."
2. Grammar. Use complete/not run on sentences. Punctuation and real sentences are key. I noticed alot of what you said was "this happens this happens this happens he's angry this happens."
3. Make it more realistic. If you get knocked over chances are you won't spring back up hit a superkick. Also the camera probably can't hear you yell at a phrase at your opponent, let alone an entire sentence. Also if you're a very small guy chances are you won't be able to knock a guy down with a headbutt. You almost certainly couldn't because you had a head wound.
4. Use your opponents moves and gimmicks during the matches. It seemed like alot of moves you had them using were very general moves. I would suggest having two contracts open at all times. When you are roleplaying about someone make sure their contract is opened so you can always see their moves.
