A somber tune lightly fades in to what is initially a pure black screen. Gradually, the camera pans out and downward to reveal a dimly lit hall with a roundtable where various strange looking people are seated. They all wear red robes bar one person who is in black trenchcoat and a hood. A faint chanting can be heard and it grows stronger as we pan in closer to proceedings until it is compleyely audible.
Everyone
Of the world's woe, now convene. All is bound by the circle and its thorns.
Invisible, inviolate, we, the seeds of the storm, at the center of the world's woe, now convene.
The chanting stops and the camera focusses in on one particular individual who sits at the head of the table. He is clothed in red, but we see his face is tatooed with what seem to be ancient symbols. He looks directly at the individual in the trenchcoat.
Red robes
The circle does not abide secrets.
Trenchcoat
Which is interesting for a secret society.
Clearly unimpressed, red robes lets out a hiss of anger and then in a low yet forceful tone responds.

Trenchcoat
My place is in the circle.
Red robes grunts in acknowledgement and then let’s out a cry of agony.
Red Robes
Vail! Your manservant has become tangled in my bodily fluids again!
Trenchcoat leans forward and pushes the slave away from red robes. The man to red robes’ left scurries up and lurches at the manservant.
The manservant drops to the floor clutching his cheek after receiving a backhanded slap from Vail.
Vail
I apologise Sebassis. This shall not occur agai-.
Sebassis
That’s what you said the last time!
Sebassis continues in an exasperated tone.
Sebassis
You should be more selective insofar as your staff appointments.
Vail
He is replaceable.
Sebassis
Then replace him!
Trenchcoat
Umm...guys, I hope you didn’t invite me here to have a front row seat of a catfight.
Sebassis shoots Trenchcoat a glare, forcing him to raise his hands apologetically. Silence ensues for the next few seconds before Sebassis resumes talking.
Sebassis
Very well. You have proven yourself worthy, however, they will see your aim far too quickly and prevent you. They must never suspect what is occurring right under their noses. I trust you will be capable of remaining unfamiliar throughout your journey?
Trenchcoat
Hey, take a look at me.
Trenchcoat flashes a cheesy smile as if he’s in a commercial. Sebassis is unimpressed once more and scowls before continuing.
Sebassis
Very well. The initiation may commence.
Trenchcoat’s hand is forcibly taken from his side and placed facedown on the table. Numerous members from around the table are set into motion as they all stand. Trenchcoat’s hand is branded with a symbol which is circular with a thorn in the middle of it.
Sebassis
The circle entwined.
Everyone bar Trenchcoat is now standing and they chant in unison following Sebassis.
Everyone
Embrace this worthy son.
Sebassis
The thorn draws blood.
Everyone
The thorn is the power, and the power is absolute.
